Data You Provide

When you use Nodera, you provide the following data:

• n8n Instance URL: The URL of your n8n instance to establish a connection.
• API Key: Your n8n API key for authentication with your instance.

This data is stored exclusively on your device using encrypted secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android EncryptedSharedPreferences) and is never transmitted to our servers.

Automatically Collected Data

We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect anonymous usage data, including:

• App opens and session duration
• Screen views and navigation patterns
• Feature usage (e.g., workflow activations, execution views)
• Device information (device model, operating system version)
• Country/region (based on IP address, not stored)
• App crashes and errors

This data is collected anonymously and cannot be used to identify you personally. No personal information, API keys, workflow data, or n8n instance details are transmitted to our analytics services.

How We Use Your Data

Data You Provide

Your n8n instance URL and API key are used solely to:

• Connect to your n8n instance
• Retrieve and display your workflows and executions
• Execute workflow actions you initiate (activate, deactivate, run)
• Monitor for failed executions (if notifications are enabled)

Analytics Data

Anonymous usage data is used to:

• Understand how users interact with the App
• Identify and fix bugs and crashes
• Improve App features and user experience
• Make informed decisions about future development

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

Your credentials (instance URL and API key) are stored locally on your device using platform-specific secure storage:

• iOS: Keychain Services with encryption
• Android: EncryptedSharedPreferences backed by Android Keystore

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Analytics Data

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal data to third parties. Data is only shared as follows:

• Your n8n Instance: Your credentials are used to communicate directly with your n8n instance. This communication occurs directly between your device and your n8n server.
• Firebase Analytics (Google): Anonymous usage statistics are shared with Google for analytics purposes.

Background Processing

If you enable notifications, the App periodically checks your n8n instance for failed executions in the background. This process:

• Runs entirely on your device
• Communicates directly with your n8n instance
• Does not transmit any data to our servers

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

Access and Deletion

• You can view your stored credentials in the App settings
• You can delete all stored data by using „Disconnect Instance“ in settings or uninstalling the App
• On iOS, Keychain data may persist after uninstallation; use „Disconnect Instance“ before uninstalling to ensure complete removal

Analytics Opt-Out

You can limit analytics collection by:

• Disabling analytics in your device settings
• Using your device’s „Limit Ad Tracking“ or equivalent feature

Data Portability

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times.

Complaints

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe your data is being processed unlawfully.

Children’s Privacy

Nodera is not intended for use by children under the age of 12. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
